Hello
I have a number of MV's (8.1.7) defined on tables in a remote system thru a dblink. They seem to refresh OK (refresh fast runs OK) although the user_mviews table in the dictionnary has COMPILE_STATE=ERROR, STATENESS=UNDEFIED, AFTER_FAST_REFRESH=UNDEFINED, LAST_REFRESH_DATE IS NULL.
After I alter compile the MV, those dictionnary fields remain unchanged. Any idea what is going on ?

There are bugs in oracle8.1.7 concerning the correct display of the status of a mv. Something about bugs in the data dictionary views on mv's.

In oracle9i it's solved
