Hi All,
I have a question pertaining to workflow.
I want to use a standalone workflow.
Can anyone explain me do I have to install workflow client and server in order to start using wrokflow.
How do I establish a connection between database and workflow builder.
Thanx
Abbas

Abbas,
Oracle Workflow was previously shipped with the Oracle Database, but has now been discontinued as a stand-alone product. It is now only available as part of the Oracle E-Business Suite.
If you do not use the Oracle E-Business Suite, you are out of luck and should investigate other options such as BPEL Process Manager which is part the Oracle SOA Suite and does much the same job.
If you do have the Oracle E-Business Suite, the server-side part of things are already there as Oracle Workflow is an integral part of it. Workflow Builder is available as a patch on Metalink.
